Taylor is a licensed architect with over 10 years of experience on a range of project types from mixed-use, to new institutional work to single-family homes. Born and raised in Virginia, Taylor’s architectural sensibilities stemmed from his pastoral upbringing. An architecture that enhances the landscape, is democratic, and arises from its place are the foundations of his architectural philosophy.
While studying architecture in Blacksburg, Virginia Taylor developed a passion for hand drawing, later refining his skills while traveling and studying across Western Europe. He graduated in the Spring of 2014 with his Bachelors of Architecture and specializations in drawing, modeling, and visualization. Taylor strives to connect architecture with the public realm through narrative, craft, & a sense of place.
