The company sought a new facility created in an existing space that had been used for years as a weight-lifting gymnasium. The existing open space was old and dark and lacked modern lighting, ventilation, and electrical systems.
The owners of 8 Limbs Yoga sought spaces for two yoga studios, an office and boutique, and renovated bathrooms, showers, and saunas. Rhodes Architecture + Light worked together with the owners to create walls, floors, and ceilings, select materials and finishes, and modernize the bathrooms, lighting, electrical, and ventilation systems in the existing second story space. The entire renovation was completed on a very limited budget in three months.
