CITC Pasco

Location: Pasco, WA

Size: 9,352 SF

Cost: $73.93/SF

Celebrating CITC's brand and aesthetics, the design brought accessible spaces and student-support facilities to an empty retail shell space, adding high-efficiency HVAC, lighting, insulation, accessible restrooms, and engaging reception and landmark elements and graphics. Highly crafted expressive wood "trellising" and stainless-steel floor graphics complemented glass walls and ground concrete floors to welcome apprentices to the new facility. Super graphics accent walls while frameless glass connects student lounges, classrooms, and the new lobby.

CITC's Southern Campus in Pasco Washington utilizes a retail tenant space in the Tri-Cities area to provide a 2-story training facility for a 4-year construction apprenticeship program offered by the non-profit Construction Industries Training Council. Rhodes Architecture + Light designed Classrooms, electrical and mechanical Laboratories, Administration reception and offices, Instructor Offices, Conferencing and restroom facilities, completing the project in 2019.

Rhodes Architecture + Light designed exterior signage, interior materials and finishes, all lighting, mechanical and interior glass, steel, and concrete, providing design, permitting, and construction management.
